About Ulusaba Private Game Reserve
Nestled within 33,000 acres of untouched bushveld, Ulusaba Private Game Reserve—part of Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Limited Edition—offers a world-class safari experience. Located on the edge of Kruger National Park, this reserve is home to the Big 5 and more, including giraffes, wild dogs, and hippos. With two unique lodges—Rock Lodge (panoramic hilltop luxury) and Safari Lodge (treehouse-style above a dry riverbed)—Ulusaba combines thrilling game drives, serene wellness, gourmet cuisine, and meaningful cultural engagement.
My Experience
Arriving at Ulusaba felt like entering a dream. I stayed at Rock Lodge, and the panoramic views were jaw-dropping. Our first game drive revealed elephants and a pride of lions within an hour! Stargazing from the bush observatory was magical, and the visit to the local community project added depth to the trip. The staff made every moment unforgettable.
