About Baku
This 6-night, 7-day Baku itinerary offers the perfect blend of Azerbaijan's ancient history and dynamic modernity. From UNESCO-listed Old City landmarks and cultural museums to futuristic architecture like the Flame Towers and Heydar Aliyev Center, Baku is a city of contrasts. The journey includes scenic promenades, day trips to natural wonders like Gobustan and Yanar Dag, and evenings filled with fine dining and artistic charm.
My Experience
We stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel, an ideal base to explore the cultural treasures and modern marvels of Baku. Our trip included aerial views from the Tbilisi Aerial Tramway, reflection at Martyrs' Lane, and exploring heritage sites like the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower. Baku Old City was a delight to walk through. The Flame Towers’ night show was spectacular, and we enjoyed the art and innovation at Heydar Aliyev Center. Day trips to Gobustan National Park and Yanar Dag were fascinating and well worth the drive. We ended most days with incredible food – Mari Vanna, Dolma, and CHiNAR were our favourites.
