About Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a dynamic global metropolis where East meets West in a vibrant display of culture, commerce, and cuisine. From the soaring skyscrapers of Central to the spiritual quiet of Lantau Island, the city offers contrasting experiences at every turn. Shoppers can indulge in luxury malls or street markets, while art lovers have a growing list of cultural spaces like M+ and PMQ. With efficient public transport and stunning harbour views, Hong Kong is fast-paced yet rewarding.
My Experience
Our five nights in Hong Kong were packed with contrasts. We began with a peaceful walk along the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, took in the skyline from Victoria Peak, and navigated the buzzing night markets. Lantau Island offered calm with its towering Buddha and Po Lin Monastery. The city’s art scene, rooftop bars, and plant-based dining options made it unforgettable. Riding the Star Ferry at night with the Symphony of Lights felt like a cinematic finale.
