A city of contrasts where Mughal architecture meets modernity and serene lakes.
About Bhopal
Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, is known for its twin lakes, impressive mosques, and heritage museums. From the ancient caves of Bhimbetka to the grand Taj-ul-Masjid and the lively bazaars, Bhopal is a city of rich contrasts. Nature lovers will enjoy boating at Upper Lake, while culture buffs can explore the Tribal Museum and Bharat Bhavan. It's also a great base for day trips to Sanchi and Bhojpur.
My Experience
Bhopal surprised us with its peaceful vibe and cultural diversity. Watching the sunset from VIP Road promenade was a highlight. The food was both traditional and experimental. The visit to Bhimbetka was awe-inspiring—walking through prehistoric art was like stepping into another era.
