About Lakshadweep
Lakshadweep is a hidden gem in the Arabian Sea, comprising 36 islands, of which only a few are open to tourism. With pristine coral atolls, white-sand beaches, and crystal-clear lagoons, it offers a quiet, eco-conscious alternative to more commercial island destinations. Bangaram Island stands out for its eco-luxury accommodation, sustainable tourism, and unmatched tranquillity. It’s ideal for water sports, snorkelling, scuba diving, and cultural exploration.
My Experience
From the moment we stepped off the boat onto Bangaram Island, we were struck by the serenity of untouched shores and the soft rustle of coconut palms. The resort's staff were incredibly accommodating with our vegetarian meal preferences. Snorkelling with sea turtles was surreal, and watching the stars at night without light pollution was magical. The day trip to Thinnakara felt like visiting a postcard-worthy deserted island.
