About Leh & Ladakh
Nestled in the far north of India, Ladakh is a land of stark beauty desert mountains, crystal-clear lakes, ancient monasteries, and winding roads that test the spirit of any traveller. This 7-day itinerary takes you through the serene markets of Leh, the mysterious Magnetic Hill, the sand dunes of Nubra Valley, and the iconic Pangong Lake. While some may prefer to skip a few monasteries, the raw beauty and culture of Ladakh will stay with you forever.
My Experience
Landing in Leh felt surreal—blue skies, crisp air, and panoramic mountain views. The Shanti Stupa at sunset was peaceful and calming. Driving through Sham Valley and Nimmu gave us a glimpse of Ladakhi villages and their hospitality. The journey to Nubra via Khardung La was exhilarating—snow, prayer flags, and breathtaking views. Nubra’s sand dunes and Diskit Monastery added a unique contrast. Pangong Lake was a showstopper—tranquil, vast, and unforgettable. We kept the monastery visits to a minimum and instead spent more time soaking in nature.
