About Pondicherry
Experience the perfect blend of heritage and leisure along Tamil Nadu's Coromandel Coast. Begin with the seaside town of Mahabalipuram, known for its rock-cut temples and cultural landmarks, all complemented by the luxurious ambiance of Taj Fisherman’s Cove. Then head to Pondicherry, a former French colony famed for its White Town streets, spiritual centres like Auroville and Sri Aurobindo Ashram, and its rich café culture. This itinerary promises cultural immersion, coastal indulgence, and a refreshing break from the usual.
My Experience
Our stay at Taj Fisherman’s Cove was pure luxury – the private beach, spa sessions, and seaside dining made the first few days incredibly relaxing. Mahabalipuram’s ancient monuments took us back in time. In Pondicherry, we loved walking through White Town’s pastel streets, trying vegetarian delights at stylish cafes, and exploring Auroville’s peaceful vibes. Le Café by the sea at night was a perfect way to wind down. The entire trip was a blend of heritage, leisure, and delicious vegetarian cuisine.
