An ancient spiritual hub known for the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga and sacred ghats.

About Ujjain
Ujjain is one of India's oldest and most sacred cities, especially significant for devotees of Lord Shiva. The city hosts the renowned Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling Temple, famous for its unique Bhasma Aarti. Pilgrims also visit the Kal Bhairav Temple, where liquor is offered to the deity. Ram Ghat on the Shipra River is another spiritual magnet, offering serene early-morning views. With rich cultural and religious traditions, Ujjain is a must-visit for spiritual seekers.
My Experience
The spiritual aura of Ujjain was deeply moving. Attending the Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar in the early hours felt truly divine. Walking along the Shipra at Ram Ghat brought a calmness that’s hard to describe. The city’s simplicity and devotion stayed with us.
