About Bangkok
Bangkok, Thailand's bustling capital, offers an eclectic mix of ancient temples, royal palaces, and modern skyscrapers set along the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Known for its lively street markets, Michelin-starred restaurants, ornate temples, and a buzzing nightlife, Bangkok is a sensory overload in the best way. Whether you're gliding through its canals on a longtail boat, indulging in Thai massages, or exploring its world-renowned rooftop bars, Bangkok delivers culture, cuisine, and comfort in equal measure.
My Experience
Our six-day stay in Bangkok was nothing short of luxurious. We began with a serene evening boat ride along the Chao Phraya River, staying at Capella with river views. Exploring the Grand Palace and temples like Wat Pho and Wat Arun felt like stepping into another era. We experienced Michelin-starred vegetarian cuisine at Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin and shopped in style at ICONSIAM. One of our favourite moments was enjoying cocktails at BKK Social Club, with its Latin American flair. The flower market, Thai massage, and a rooftop drink at Vertigo added unique touches to our journey.
