About Krabi (Ao Nang, Railay & Islands)
Krabi, nestled along Thailand’s Andaman Coast, is famed for its towering limestone karsts, emerald lagoons, and postcard-perfect beaches. Whether you're sunbathing on Railay Beach, kayaking through mangroves, or island-hopping by private yacht, Krabi offers a unique mix of relaxation and thrill. It’s a blend of natural beauty, cultural charm, and elevated hospitality, with ultra-luxury resorts like Rayavadee and Phulay Bay enhancing the experience.
My Experience
Our four days in Krabi were a stunning mix of tranquillity and adrenaline. We reached Railay via speedboat and spent the first evening wandering Phra Nang Cave Beach, followed by cocktails inside a limestone cave at The Grotto pure magic. Day two was spent on a private yacht exploring Chicken Island, Tup Island, Poda Island, and back to Phra Nang. Each stop was perfect for swimming and snorkelling. On day three, we hiked up to Railay Viewpoint (a bit challenging but rewarding) and kayaked through Ao Thalane’s peaceful mangroves. The final day gave us a choice — we picked a spa retreat at Phulay Bay while our friends opted for the Hong Islands tour. Both were equally unforgettable.
