About Plitvice Lakes
Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of Croatia's most iconic natural attractions and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Known for its 16 terraced lakes joined by waterfalls, wooden footbridges, and vibrant flora and fauna, the park offers a serene escape into the heart of nature. It is an ideal spot for hiking, photography, and relaxing amidst unspoiled landscapes.
My Experience
We landed in Zagreb and drove about 1 hour to Hotel Jezero. After a leisurely evening, we moved to Hotel Plitvice for a two-night stay. The walks in the national park were refreshing, the waterfalls stunning, and the peaceful ambiance made it perfect for unwinding.
