About Lake Como
This 7-day luxury journey through Lake Como offers the perfect blend of elegance, leisure, and discovery. Starting at the tranquil Mandarin Oriental, guests enjoy private boat rides, funicular sunsets, and family relaxation. The second half unfolds at the timeless Villa d’Este, a lakeside palace where garden strolls, villa visits, and gourmet dining bring the romance of Northern Italy to life. With e-bike rides in Bellagio, historic villa tours, and local culinary delights, Lake Como reveals its charming layers.
My Experience
We were greeted by the calm of Lake Como at the Mandarin Oriental. From cruising its mirrored waters to walking through Como’s historic centre, every moment was picturesque. Bellagio's e-bike trails and Chef Luigi's pizza-making were family favourites. At Villa d’Este, time slowed down—whether strolling Torno's shores, dining in hillside restaurants, or marvelling at James Bond film locations. Varenna's charm, Menaggio’s lakeside calm, and Villa Melzi's blooming gardens were the perfect farewell. This itinerary balanced culture, cuisine, and comfort effortlessly.
