About Milan
Milan, the cosmopolitan heart of Northern Italy, is famed for its gothic cathedrals, high fashion, world-class museums, and vibrant neighbourhoods. Home to iconic landmarks like the Duomo di Milano, Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, and the upscale Quadrilatero della Moda, the city offers a captivating mix of tradition and trend. Milan’s streets pulse with energy – whether you're shopping in Via Montenapoleone, dining at Michelin-starred restaurants, or strolling along the Navigli canals. From Renaissance masterpieces to modern innovation, Milan delivers a quintessential Italian experience with a contemporary twist.
My Experience
Staying at the luxurious Four Seasons made the experience incredibly comfortable and central. Starting with the majestic Duomo rooftop was awe-inspiring, and spotting the Statue of Liberty-inspired sculpture was a fun surprise. Museo del Novecento’s contemporary art added a creative contrast, while Galleria Vittorio Emanuele was perfect for photos and people-watching. Leonardo da Vinci’s vineyard and The Last Supper were truly unforgettable – it's worth booking in advance! The Brera district was artistic and romantic, and Navigli by evening was lively with locals. Fashion lovers will adore the Quadrilatero della Moda, and food lovers won’t go wrong with dining at Joia or Berberè. Watching flamingos at Villa Invernizzi was an unexpected joy, and the modern vibe of Porta Garibaldi left a lasting impression.
