About Zurich
Zurich, Switzerland’s financial capital, sits beside the stunning Lake Zurich and is framed by the Swiss Alps. The city harmoniously combines historic landmarks like the Grossmünster and Fraumünster with world-renowned art museums, gourmet dining, and designer boutiques. Whether strolling through the cobbled lanes of Altstadt or enjoying a thermal spa after a mountain hike, Zurich caters to every type of traveller. It's a gateway to the Alps, a hub for Swiss watch and chocolate lovers, and a sanctuary of scenic beauty and refined living.
My Experience
Walking through Bahnhofstrasse was an elegant beginning to the journey. The view from Lindenhof Hill was a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. Tasting Zürcher Geschnetzeltes at Kronenhalle immersed the senses in Swiss tradition. Visiting art museums and sipping cocktails at Widder Bar made the cultural day feel indulgent yet relaxed. The climb up Uetliberg was invigorating, and soaking in a thermal rooftop spa was a serene highlight. Exploring Rhine Falls brought an adrenaline rush, while wine tasting nearby introduced a different side of Zurich. Ending the trip with a chocolate tour and alpine adventure made for a complete Swiss experience.
