About San Francisco
San Francisco is one of California’s most iconic cities, known for its colourful Victorian homes, historic cable cars, and the famous Golden Gate Bridge. The city's energy lies in its diversity culturally rich neighbourhoods, thriving tech scene, and picturesque waterfronts offer something for every traveller. Whether you’re wandering through Golden Gate Park, enjoying vegan sushi in the Mission District, or crossing the Golden Gate Bridge into quaint Sausalito, San Francisco combines urban discovery with natural beauty. It’s also the perfect hub for exploring nearby gems like Silicon Valley, Napa Valley, and Berkeley.
My Experience
We explored San Francisco over several exciting days. Our itinerary took us from iconic spots like Pier 39 and Twin Peaks to local foodie favourites such as Shizen for vegan sushi. We strolled across the Golden Gate Bridge into Sausalito and enjoyed sunset views from the rooftops. Golden Gate Park offered peaceful greenery, while the Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory added a sweet touch. With day trips to Silicon Valley and Napa, our San Francisco stay was equal parts urban, innovative, and indulgent.
