A land of dramatic glaciers, snow-capped peaks, tango-filled nights, and exquisite wine—Argentina is an unforgettable journey through nature, culture, and cosmopolitan flair.
About Buenos Aires
Argentina stretches from the icy wilderness of Patagonia to the European elegance of Buenos Aires. Travelling through its diverse regions unveils a kaleidoscope of experiences: the thunderous Perito Moreno Glacier in El Calafate, the towering Mount Fitz Roy in El Chaltén, penguin-filled coastlines in Ushuaia—the southernmost city in the world—and the alpine charm of Bariloche. Northern routes take you along the scenic Seven Lakes to the quiet beauty of San Martín de los Andes, before leading you to Mendoza’s lush vineyards and Buenos Aires’ buzzing streets. Whether you're hiking, sipping Malbec, or dancing the tango, Argentina is a feast for the senses.
My Experience
Our journey through Argentina was filled with awe at every turn. In El Calafate, the boat ride to the Perito Moreno Glacier was surreal—massive ice walls creaked and cracked before our eyes. El Chaltén was a hiker’s paradise; the trek to Laguna de los Tres rewarded us with breathtaking views of Mount Fitz Roy. Ushuaia felt like the edge of the world; we took a scenic boat ride on the Beagle Channel and rode the End of the World Train. In Bariloche, we drove the Circuito Chico, visited Cerro Campanario, and tasted artisanal chocolate while gazing at snow-dusted lakes. San Martín de los Andes offered serene lakeside moments and a peaceful contrast to the rest of the journey. Mendoza was elegant and indulgent, with private wine tastings and local vegetarian fare. We ended in Buenos Aires, a lively, cultural metropolis where we strolled through Recoleta Cemetery, watched a passionate tango show, and dined in historic cafés. Argentina exceeded all expectations with its diversity and warmth.
