About Botswana
This 9-day safari in Botswana combines the tranquil waterways of the Okavango Delta with the wildlife-rich riverbanks of Chobe National Park. The Okavango Delta is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its unique inland floodplain ecosystem and breathtaking mokoro safaris. The journey continues to Chobe, home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa, where river safaris and big game drives dominate. Ideal for both first-time and seasoned safari-goers, this itinerary delivers immersive wildlife encounters, stunning scenery, and indulgent eco-luxury.
My Experience
Gliding silently through lily-filled lagoons in a mokoro at Xigera was pure magic. We spotted Pel's fishing owl and watched elephants from the deck of our suite. At Vumbura, we saw a leopard on the hunt and enjoyed an unforgettable bush brunch under an acacia tree. Chobe was a different wonder altogether—elephants swimming across the river, and a sunset cruise with hippos grunting nearby. Every moment felt personal, wild, and deeply connected to nature.
