About Madrid
Madrid offers a magnetic combination of historic grandeur and modern vibrance. From majestic landmarks like the Royal Palace and Almudena Cathedral to cultural powerhouses such as the Prado and Reina Sofia Museums, it’s a feast for the eyes and soul. Green escapes like Retiro Park, buzzing markets, and inventive vegetarian cuisine make Madrid an urban explorer’s delight. Whether you’re into flamenco, fashion, tapas, or fine dining, Madrid has something to stir your spirit.
My Experience
We began our trip walking through Madrid’s royal history, then unwound in Retiro Park’s serene setting. Tapas-hopping led us to charming veggie-friendly spots tucked into lively barrios like Chueca. The Toledo day trip was a cultural reset a gorgeous contrast to Madrid’s cosmopolitan rush. Ending the trip with sunset cocktails and Michelin-starred vegetarian tasting menus felt like a dream. Madrid’s creative food scene, art treasures, and stylish nightlife won our hearts.
